Our purpose

Lack of capital towards women-led startups and women investors

Enlaza is tackling one of the most pressing gaps in venture capital: the severe underfunding of female-led startups and women investors. 

Women-led startups received only 29% of the total capital in the VC ecosystem. This imbalance is not just a missed opportunity for gender equity but also a loss for investors, as multiple studies highlight the superior returns of investing in diverse teams.

Research from First Round Capital found that startups with at least one female founder outperform their all-male counterparts by 63%. Additionally, a BCG study revealed that women-led businesses generate twice as much revenue per dollar invested compared to male-led startups, making a strong case for shifting more capital toward female founders.
